Hello, and happy Monday.
Tis the season of conferences—this past weekend was the Association for Asian American Studies Conference. I’ve been to and presented at three in the past month. Luckily, two of them had virtual options, so I didn’t have to travel much.
I hope that you all had a relaxing weekend! Because I was working most of the weekend, I am taking some of the week off in an effort to recalibrate my work-life balance. I like to call these days off my “soft days.”So, today’s newsletter will have some links for you and (of course) a pup-date. I’ll be back next week with our regularly scheduled programming. 🤗

“But unfortunately, I do not have one foundational trauma. I have thousands. So my anxious freakouts are not, as the books say, “temporal.” They don’t only occur when I see an angry face or someone pulls a driver out of their golf bag. My freakouts are more or less constant, a fixed state of being.” Stephanie Foo on C-PTSD.
