Another librarian at my library went to a virtual symposium recently, and one of the presentations was on virtual study rooms, i.e., study with me but live. Just people in a Zoom or wherever, with their cameras on, doing work. Given that I had been told by a tutor that frequently her tutoring appointments are just students wanting another person there while they study, well, I am sold. I want us to implement asap.
10000% here for the "study with me" videos - i love them!! the scotland ones are my fave 🥰 and are definitely helping me cope with writing in the same space for the last year. i truly miss writing at my local barnes & noble café 😭
