Now that you mention it, I did an informal form of x-ray when writing my undergrad papers. I’d go through each paragraph and summarize it, then evaluate based on those summaries. BUT I didn’t write anything down, or use that skeleton to evaluate paragraph length. This is a really useful method, thank you!
